The Refuge

For more than five years, St. Mark has supported a very special ministry, started by a local church. The Refuge is a Saturday evening meal and Biblical message for the chronically poor and homeless from the community.  Support for this outreach comes from many organizations, with St. Mark providing support every six weeks.  St. Mark's cooks and serves hot meals on their week, along with providing the worship portion on occassions.

Sunnyvale Community Services

St. Mark, for more than ten years, has supported Sunnyvale Community Services (SCS) in many ways.  The goal of SCS is that all residents are safely and stably housed with food on the table, and with access to medical care and services. SCS addresses immediate critical needs to help low-income families and seniors who are often one bill away from hunger and homelessness. St. Mark continues to support them both financially, providing volunteers for their monthly grocery packing, helping restock their Christmas store and other tasks as requested. Please consider being a part St. Mark's team of volunteers as we reach out to the Sunnyvale community.  Click here for further details on SCS.
