"Planet Zoom "

Hey Kids! Join us this summer at St. Mark's Vacation Bible School! This year's theme is: "Planet Zoom ", where the kids will enjoy learning about Jesus using a "bee-utiful" theme!

The theme Bible verse is:
“Be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us."
Ephesians 5:1-2

This five-session program meets every day from 9:00am-12noon, Monday through Friday, July 12-16th.

Highlights from 2009

Kids will meet Scout, a bee in the Planet Zoom hive, and four other bee friends who will guide them through the week. Scout and his friends will guide children through five amaz-z-ing Bible stories that will teach them to be bold bee-lievers of Jesus.

NOW is the time to sign your kids up for our exciting Vacation Bible School where the Children will know and experience God’s love in Christ as they experience Planet Zoom in every Bible story, craft, skit, activity, game, and snack.

As God has richly blessed St. Mark, the entire program is being provided for free. That's right! There is no charge for any part of this wonderful experience for your children.

Register by calling Glenn at the church office at (408) 736-6605, by mailing a copy of the online Registration Form to St. Mark or faxing the form to (408) 736-7015. To print the form, you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader (Download Adobe Acrobat Reader).

Each hands-on, interactive lesson in the 5-day program challenges kids to discover how God's promises keep them on course.

Friday Evening Celebration

Join everyone on Friday evening from 5:30 to 8:00pm as we celebrate the completion of VBS week. This is an opportunity for friends and family to the kids crafts, their decorated classrooms and to understand what VBS is about!

Sunday Children's Service

On Sunday morning, July 18th at 10am, the children will be leading the worship service using the same "Planet Zoom " theme! Come join the kids as they summarize their week's studies from the Bible. It's a great opportunity for the children to share what they learned about God during the week.

What is VBS:

Vacation Bible School is a Christian program to teach the word of God to children from Pre-School through 6th grade, with 7th and 8th graders serving as helpers. The program is presented through Bible study, crafts, singing and playing.
