At St. Mark's 2006 VBS children were welcomed to the Treasure Cove where they discovered the riches of God's grace in Jesus! The theme Bible verse was “In Jesus, "we have...the riches of God's grace.” Ephesians 1:7. |

For five weekdays mornings, kids went on a treasure hunt, digging into the Scripture to find the greatest treasure of all, Jesus Christ.

Each day was full of surprises as the children explored God's many riches through His Word, in study, during play time and a favorite for all...snacks! |

At the conclusion of the week, the children hosted a Friday night "Island Party" where friends and family could visit their class rooms, watch highlights from the week, enjoy some great ice cream sundaes. The surprise of the evening was when the sprinklers came on for the nightly watering! Ah, it felt sooo good after all the running around!

Finally, on Sunday morning, the children celebrated what they learned during the week with a special worship service. God continues to bless His ministry at St. Mark through these wonderful children and the message of salvation they bring to many. |
