The Mission of St.Mark's

St. Mark offers children from the age of two through their high school years the opportunity to study God's word in a spiritually rich environment. With God's word as the foundation, St. Mark teaches the children all facets of the Bible, including: God's creation, the leaders of the Old Testament, the prophets, Christ's birth, death and resurrection for our sins and the writings of the early New Testament church. |

Along with Bible studies, the younger children also participate in crafts that relate to their lessons from that day. As the children grow physically, the classes will allow them to also grow spiritually. |

Because St. Mark believes the children are an important part of its ministry, they also participate in other aspects besides Sunday School. At Christmas time, they are a part of the Living Nativity and also provide a special Christmas Pageant for everyone who attends our Sunday worship. Finally, many of the youth also help with the weekly worship services through the lighting of candles and assistance with communion. We praise God for all he provides through our youth! |
