God Bless Our Home

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3

The home is the center of evrything that makes the life of a Christian family complete and meaningful. When we live for Him, our home will be blessed. Putting Christ first in our lives will cause us to be more aware of the abundance He bestows on us. Let Christ be ever-present, to comfort and strengthen the bond that can never be broken through Him.

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;
He also will hear their cry and save them.

Psalm 145:18-19

A Mother’s Prayer
Lord, to know that You are ever near to me when I call upon Your name is both comforting and reassuring. May I always call upon You in truth. Protect my heart from any fears that take me away from Your everlasting love. May I live each day with purpose and with a joyful gladness that only You can supply. May I forever praise You. Amen

Please join us for worship on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 9th at 10 a.m. This is an excellent time to worship with family and to honor our mothers as women of God. Plan now to bring the entire family to worship and a time of celebration. We will have a special gift for mothers and women. It is a devotional booklet entitled “Time with God for Mothers”. It is a devotional that is most appropriate for all women and girls. Immediately after church we will be taking photos and then have them produced and put on a special card for a keepsake.

At St Mark we plan a special day to praise God for the women and girls in our lives and to give special thanks for our mothers who have raised us in the faith and to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Make plans now to reserve Sunday, May 9th as a special day to honor the women in our midst.
