"An Epic Event...
in Time and for Eternity"
Easter SundayMarch 23, 2008
"Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
Matthew 28:7
The celebration of Easter at St. Mark does not begin on Easter Sunday, but is six week journey through Lent as we travel to the cross and ultimately the empty grave on Easter morning.
On Easter morning, the day begins with the traditional youth breakfast.
With a satisfied appetite and the need to burn a little energy before the Easter service, the kids enjoy a hunt for Easter eggs.
Having been food by the youth, everyone gathered to be fed by the Word of God as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
