Christ the Lord is Risen Today!

On Easter Sunday, the celebration of our Savior's resurrection is highlighted by the worship service. The service begins with a processional including the elders, the choir and the youth carrying the cross, candle and Bible.

The congregation lifted their voices to God as they rejoiced in the Good News that Christ had defeated sin, death and the devil through His resurrection from His death on the cross. “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” 1Corinthians 15:55

Pastor Rod preached on the theme, "Total Victory...His Passion" based on Luke 24:1-11.

Along with the congregational singing and Pastor Rod's message, the voice and bell choirs provided several inspirational songs.

As the service ended, those with believing hearts to God, rejoiced in the Good News that Jesus had fulfilled God's will to die and rise from the dead so that we might live eternally! Christ has Risen...He has Risen Indeed!
