Opening Song with the Children Around the Tree
"Simply...Christmas" was about the director, who was writing the script, having a difficult time writing the script as his faith had weakened and he was at a loss for words.
As the story begins, Jim, the producer of the play is telling Pastor Rod his concerns that the play may not happen as he doesn't believe the script is written. In fact, he doesn't even know what it is about.

Kathy Also Concerned Over the Lack of Script
Kathy, knowing there are issues, tries to get Matt to "pull it together" and start writing as opening night approaches. It appears Matt simply has no inspiration to write the story.
Matt, struggling to write the script, meets "Chris Spirit" who tries to help Matt with his problem.
Matt is disillusioned over life's failures and has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas, leading to his writer's block.

Matt Tells Everyone About the Real Christmas Story
Jesus, Our Savior, was Born to Save All of Us from Our Sins
With his inspiration restored, Matt was able to complete the Christmas drama script in time.
St. Mark, through the Christmas drama, hope and prays that those watching the story will understand the true meaning of Christmas.
God, through His infinite love, wanted to fully restore His relationship with us, through His son, Jesus.
That relationship could only be restored through Christ's death and resurrection for us, so that our sins could be forgiven. All we have to do is believe in Him and we will have eternal life!
May God's richest blessings be with all of you now and as you go forward.
